Making the Invisible Visible: Disability Care in Haiti

Every child deserves to be seen, counted and considered. Children and youth living with a disability and their families are one of the most vulnerable and underserved populations in Haiti because of the stigma surrounding disability. Outreach, support and programming for these families can feel overwhelming and hard to navigate, particularly in the context of ensuring family care for every child. Join us to shine a light on a subject that is often left in the dark in Haiti. Our expert panel will share a range of experiences from running programming that directly cares for children and families with disabilities to programming that weaves stigma reduction and support into their pre-existing services.
