Fas a sityasyon aktyel peyi a, anpil moun an Ayiti ap viv anpil estres ak twoma nan moman a.  Anpil nan nou ka menm santi nou enpwisan e mande kisa nou kapab fe? Yon nan bagay ke nou chak kapab fe - e ki ekstrememan enpotan pou nou fe nan moman difisil sa yo - se pote atansyon sou jesyon estres ak twoma sa yo nap viv. Sa gen yon enpak sou sante nou, sou eta d'espri nou, sou fason nou aji ak lot moun, e sou kapasite n pou n travay. Le nou pran tan pou nou rekonet e esaye konbat estres ak twoma nap viv yo, sa ap pemet nou prezan yon fason pi pozitif pou pitit nou yo, koleg nou yo, e lot moun nan antouraj nou.

Nan atelye sa, k'ap fet an kreyol an liy, nap aprann kisa estres ak twoma ye. Nap aprann koman nou kapab idantifye yo non selman nan tet nou, men nan lot moun tou. Answit nap aprann kek zouti nou tout kapab itilize pou n esaye konbat estres ak twoma nan pwop vi nou.

Nou chak k'ap travay ak timoun, jen, e fanmi an ayiti ap jwe yon gwo wol nan moman sa kote tout moun bezwen sipo moral. Pou asire w kapab la pou lot moun, li enpotan ke w pran swen tet ou tou! Nou swete wap rejwen nou pou n diskite sa plis.

----ENGLISH TRANSLATION----

As the country faces such challenging times, many Haitians are experiencing an overwhelming amount of stress and trauma. Many may even feel powerless and be asking, what can we do? One thing that each of us can do - and that is extremely important to do during these difficult times - is to focus on how we manage the stress and trauma we experience. This impacts our health, our mental state, our interactions with others, and our work capacity. When we take the time to acknowledge and try to address the stress and trauma we're experiencing, it allows us to show up more positively for our children, colleagues, and others around us.

In this workshop, which will be done in Haitian Creole and held online, participants will learn about what stress and trauma are. They will learn how to identify stress and trauma not only in themselves but also in others. In addition, they will learn practical regulation techniques they can use to help combat trauma and stress in their own lives.

Each of our colleagues or team members who are working with children, youth, and families in Haiti are carrying so much weight on their shoulders at this time when all Haitians need and deserve moral support. To ensure they can be present for others, it's so important that they care for themselves too! We hope your colleagues, team members, community leaders, or other contacts in Haiti will join us for this important conversation.
